Hi, I’m Harshitha, Founder of Aakruthi Ethnics.

My journey with sarees began quite differently. As a teenager, I found sarees heavy and difficult to carry, and for a while, I almost believed they simply weren’t for me.

That changed when I discovered lightweight, flowy crepe sarees. I loved how effortlessly they draped, how comfortable they felt, and how easy they were to move around in. My search for more sarees like these eventually led me to Pure Banarasi and Pure Mysore Crepe sarees.

That became the idea behind Aakruthi Ethnics.

Today, I personally curate sarees that are elegant, beautifully crafted and unique in colour and design, yet lightweight and easy to drape.

Because for me, a beautiful saree should not just look good—it should feel effortless to wear.
